National Arts Festival

Standard Bank sponsored and presented several events during the previous National Arts Festivals namely the:

 

• Standard Bank Youth Jazz Festival; 

• Standard Bank Jazz Festival; and 

• Standard Bank Young Artist Awards.

The Standard Bank Young Artist (SBYA) Awards are presented by the National Arts Festival to emerging, relatively young South African artists who have demonstrated exceptional ability in their chosen fields but who have not yet achieved national exposure and acclaim. 

TGPR has been tasked with profiling the various activities, shining the spotlight on all the Standard Bank sponsored initiatives. This resulted in national media coverage.

The publicity drive for the SBYAs generated from 2019 to 2022 is over R8.8 million while Standard Bank’s other NAF activities generated over R1.9 m in media coverage.
